Do you need a gardening guide? Here are some free tips from a passionate horticulturist!
G’Day Fellow Gardeners,
Have you ever needed a gardening guide; some tips and advice or wondered where to find the right garden supplies?
I’m Heather Butler, co-owner with my husband Mark, of the Lindisfarne Village Garden Centre in Hobart, Tasmania. That's about 40 degrees south in an area with a cool to mild Mediterranean-type climate.
We’ve been involved in the nursery industry and providing our customers with the best plants, supplies, gifts and free gardening advice for over twenty years, so in January 2008 we decided to share our knowledge with the world via our new website, village-gardening-guide.com.
We hope you like it as much as we love our garden nursery business.
Our Newsletter contains Seasonal Gardening Advice, Tips, and Notification of Special Events and Sales. We hope you'll become a subscriber.
I guess you can see our passion for plants in our nursery and our home garden, and it’s helping people choose the right plants or getting the right tools and tips that we really enjoy most because gardening is such a joy for so many of us. I mean you just can’t beat the pleasure of seeing that seed you sowed or seedling you planted thrive and bloom. And the taste of those home grown veggies…
So let me be your gardening guide and benefit from my experience and that of our expert staff at the village garden centre.
We’ll be adding lots of articles over the first quarter of this year as well as a monthly gardening newsletter or ezine, so that those seasonal issues and advice will turn up on time in your inbox every month.
We’ll also start a blog so you can add your comments and share your gardening successes or otherwise!
So, where to start?
Depending on where you are – north or south of the equator – it will soon be
Spring or
Autumn / Fall. So look in those pages for some timely advice about lawn care, vegetable and flower planting.
Then we’ll be adding some important information about Organic Gardening and Compost making, bringing our gardening newsletter online, adding guidelines for indoor and container gardening, pest control and lots more.
So why not bookmark this site or add it to your favorites while we get the newsletter up and available, then you can return every time you have a gardening issue and want some good free guidance.
See you again,
Heather
